Millennium Arts Salon invites you to join us for a special Exhibition Tour and Reception celebrating Humanist Touch: Works from the Weber Collection at the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center. This is a free, public event.

On Saturday, May 2nd at 1pm, we will be welcomed by collectors Joan and Bruce Weber for a guided tour of this remarkable exhibition — a living testament to nearly four decades of passionate art collecting , curated by Laura Roulet.

Humanist Touch reflects the deeply personal story behind every artwork in the collection — each one a record of connection, friendship, and support within the District–Maryland–Virginia artist, gallery, and nonprofit art communities. Rich with painting, sculpture, and new media, the collection encompasses a variety of styles from geometric abstraction to digital, with a concentration on portraiture and figurative painting.

This is a rare opportunity to experience the collection through Joan's eyes and hear the stories behind the works firsthand.

Following the tour, there will be a reception with MAS members celebrating the Weber’s and continuing what promises to be a rich conversation. Become a MAS Member to join!

We look forward to sharing this exciting afternoon with you!
