Millennium Arts Salon invites the public to join us for a special retrospective exhibition tour with Joan Danziger on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Katzen Arts Center at the American University Museum.

Guests are invited to experience The Magical World of Joan Danziger, the artist’s largest exhibition to date, led by Danziger herself. The tour offers an intimate look into a decades-long practice shaped by surrealism, myth, and metamorphosis, where wire, glass, and mixed media transform into imaginative sculptural forms. Tracing her evolution from abstract painter to visionary sculptor, the exhibition reveals a body of work grounded in fantasy, symbolism, and the space between human and animal worlds.

Following the public tour, Millennium Arts Salon members are warmly invited to attend a private reception, providing an opportunity to gather, reflect, and continue the conversation in community.
